1. Sell Your Skills Online
Sites such as Upwork, People Per Hour and Fiverr allow you to register and sell your skills online. This particularly works well for creatives and writers. You could sell articles, sketches, social media skills, anything really.
2. Write And Publish An E-Book
Write an e-book about something someone wants to find out about and present it in easy to read format and watch the money roll in. Two popular ways of selling an e-book are via a blog or on Amazon, so what are you waiting for – get writing!
3. Enter Competitions
There are many competition sites such as Loquax and Competition Database that can help you find competitions. Money Saving Expert has a very good competition forum too. Enter for big-ticket items that are easy to post such as mobile phones, jewellery and the like. Then sell them through Facebook Ads, Free Ads or eBay to make money. Also be sure to post items with an insured service in case they get lost in the post. Also, don’t forget to enter for cash and vouchers too.

5. Become A Tutor
If you are skilled in something particular you could become a tutor. Obviously, this will appeal to qualified teachers, but you don’t need a teaching qualification often, just knowledge and skills in the area. A site such as Udemy allows you to create an online course or you can advertise yourself locally and before long you will be earning money as a tutor.
Babysitting is one way of making money that has been around for years. Standard rates are from £10 an hour. If you have babysat for younger siblings or family and friends this will help as you will have the experience. You must be responsible (obviously), be safety conscious and be good with kids. You may need a DBS check in the UK although some parents may not ask for one.
7. Dog Walking
Walking dogs is big business but again like looking after children, it is a big responsibility. Again experience in this area will help, experience with your own dog or a friends dog and a love of animals is obviously essential. Expect to be paid anything form £8 an hour.
