Autumn is here and it’s a beautiful time of year. It’s also a great time of year to get a fresh start. If you are single, and looking to get back into the dating scene or if you have a partner but want to go on more ‘date nights’ check out this post on autumn dating ideas. I can guarantee with these ideas you won’t have a boring autumn! Here are some autumn dating ideas for you for that first, second or subsequent dates.
Go To A Museum
A museum is a great date if you are both into the subject matter on show. For modern art try the Tate Modern, for those into history The Natural History Museum or if you are both big kids maybe the Science Museum in London will appeal with its interactive exhibitions that are great fun. All these are in London but I am sure you can find some interesting exhibitions in your local vicinity. Special exhibits change with the season so check out what new exhibits are around this autumn.
Have A Picnic In The Countryside
The countryside is beautiful in the autumn. Why not pack a picnic, some fold-up chairs or a rug and find a place in nature to sit and admire the countryside. Sparkling
Visit A Haunted House
As Halloween approaches, you will find some scare attractions popping up around the country. If you both like horror films then why not try a haunted house experience. Don’t worry, the scare actors can’t touch you and you may fall into each others arms with the fright!
Go Horseback Riding
If you both love animals why not try horseback riding? There are many places where you can have beginners lessons or can pay for some time riding horses. It’s an idea not many people think of but it’s perfect for animal lovers. Ride through the beautiful autumn colours on horseback for a lovely romantic date.
Visit A Brewery Or Vineyard
A brewery tour is fun especially if you are into real ales. See how beer is made, as well as have some tasters along the way. A fun activity for those that love their beer. Alternatively, a vineyard tour is also a great idea. Did you know there are over 500 vineyards in the UK, and some of these are open to the public? You can find out about the grapes used, and the winemaking process as well as have try the wines.
Cook At Home
If you love cooking, consider an autumn date night at home. They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach and I would argue the same for a woman. Perhaps make pumpkin soup, a hearty steak and ale pie or slow cooker goulash and blackberry crumble for dessert. Check out sites such as BBC Food for some autumn recipe ideas. My favourite autumn recipe is pumpkin pie – delicious!
So here are some autumn dating ideas. Let me know what you think?
